PC Server Download

The TruckSim GPS Telemetry Server runs on your PC while you play Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator, sending real-time truck data to the mobile app.

System Requirements

• Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributable (x64) — Download from Microsoft (installed automatically if needed)

Setup Instructions

1. Run the installer — it will install the VC++ Redistributable if needed, add a firewall rule for PC–mobile communication, and optionally create a desktop shortcut.
2. Launch TruckSim GPS Telemetry Server — on first run, it auto-detects your game installations and copies the required telemetry plugins.
3. Keep the server running while playing ETS2 or ATS.
4. Connect your mobile device — make sure your phone/tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC, then enter the Server IP shown in the server window into the mobile app.

The server checks for updates automatically on launch. You can also check manually via Help > Check for Updates.

Troubleshooting

Can't connect from the mobile app?

Open the Browser Test URL (shown in the server window) on your mobile device's web browser. If the page doesn't load, your PC's firewall is likely blocking the connection.

• Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
• Check Windows Firewall — the installer adds a rule automatically, but it may have been removed or overridden.
• Temporarily disable third-party firewall/antivirus software to test connectivity.

Server doesn't detect my game?

• Make sure ETS2 or ATS is installed via Steam in a standard location.
• Try running the server as Administrator.
